So when Chris Benz, American fashion designer, created a 135 foot wall with our Spangled backdrop for his models to stand in front of during New York Fashion Week 2012, we knew that we were no longer just calling ourselves "MODERN." We had been deemed unique, fresh, and modern by one of those who creates the trends that the rest of the fashion world will follow.

WE LOVE love, and similar to most people, we also love being loved. So needless to say, when we found out that Munaluchi (a magazine dedicated to showing off the love and beauty of inspirational African American weddings) had shown us some love by including one of our drops on the front page of their magazine, we were over the moon!

Within the pages of the magazine, our drop it MODERN backdrops, Poppy and Sea Horse, got their 15 minutes of fame by elegantly accenting the adorable bridesmaids in a series of eye-catching photos taken by Amelia Johnson. The editorial style wedding shoot was a collaboration between Amelia Johnson, floral designer Janie from The Bride's Cafe blog, and event stylist Dana Fitzgerald.

When Soho went to the deep South, it caught the attention of both People.com and MarthaStewart.com, landing on both websites.

Trista Sutter, everyone's favorite bachelorette, launched her debut collection for My Vintage Baby, a precious clothing line based in Texas. The collection kicked off with a fashion show and tea party complete with a photo booth where Trista posed with her guests in front of drop it MODERN's Soho backdrop. To add to the fun, a portion of the proceeds went to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
