  • What's the difference between your backdrops verses others in the industry?  drop it MODERN is a company created by photographers for photographers. Each material is tested and thoughtfully chosen to cater best to experts in the field of photography looking for that drop it MODERN standard of quality.
  • The collection of drop it MODERN backdrops feature a mixture of luxurious fabrics flocked with velvet, glitter and matte sequins, pleated lace and who knows what brilliant textures we will introduce next! But we can promise it will define beauty to both the eye and the touch. drop it MODERN will always create backdrops fused with the most luxurious fabrics and stylish designs, capturing pure elegance with lavish attention to detail. 
  • Proper Hanging Each drop it MODERN backdrop comes with a 4″ loop sewn into the top and bottom for use in any scenario. (With the exception of our new glitter backdrops that do not come with a loop) To be sure that your backdrop is hanging right-side up, make sure the tag hanging from the crossbar and that you can read the writing without standing on your head. If you follow this simple rule of thumb you’ll be sure to have photos that you and your clients will love.
  • Care & Cleaning If you get pesky fold marks in your backdrop the best way to get them out is to carefully use a steamer. For most accurate results, is requires the work of 2 people to pull the backdrop tightly, then steam. The best way to avoid this from being a continual problem, we recommend rolling your backdrop up when storing for long periods of time instead of folding it. If you get down and dirty with your backdrop and it needs to be cleaned, machine wash on cold and tumble dry to keep them so fresh and so clean, with the exception of our sequins & glitter backdrops which are spot clean only. 
  • Antlers What if I don’t want all one color of stoppers on my Antlers?- We say why go monochrome when you can color roam? Every Antlers set comes with your choice of 12 custom color stoppers. Simply mix and match from our array of 9 stunning colors and choose the number of each color you want to dress your Antlers up with on the Antlers Page before checking out.
  • How do I hang my backdrops on the Antlers?  Simply roll up your backdrops with crossbar in place on the loop, like a yoga mat, and use the extra cross bar for easy on and off access to your support system. Switch out your backdrops with ease, saving your energy for more important matters, like trying to decide what drop it MODERN backdrop to purchase next.
  • Do you accept returns? We want you to be happy with your purchase but if for some reason you are not, please contact us immediately. RETURNS & EXCHANGES ON BACKDROPS & GEAR ARE ONLY ACCEPTED 10 DAYS AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR ORDER.  drop it MODERN will not, under ANY circumstances, accept returns or exchanges after the 10 day return period ends. If you are eligible for a return or exchange, you are welcome to exchange your unused purchase for another product of equal or greater value or for STORE CREDIT ONLY within 10 days of your purchase date. Due to improper use of our return policy in the past, all drop it MODERN employees will remain loyal to our return/exchange protocol, no exceptions. If you feel there are product defects to your product, please keep in mind that you manually agreed and accepted the terms of our return and exchange policy upon checkout by clicking the "Terms & Conditions" check box regarding protocol for all returns and exchanges on all of our products, which clearly states: You may return or exchange your backdrop at your OWN SHIPPING EXPENSE for STORE CREDIT ONLY or for another product within 10 days of your purchase only. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS! This includes returns and exchanges due to so called "product defects" according to the customers point of view.  All backdrop sales are FINAL SALE. Final Sale means that drop it MODERN is not liable for any returns or exchanges concerning the product, those attempts need to be made by the customer within the 10 return policy. If you purchased Sequin Backdrop™ - smoothing down the sequins is required because of the way they are shipped. All our products are made using the same process and we offer the best quality in the market. Minimal imperfections in sequin orientation and sewing IS TO BE EXPECTED as stated on each product description page. Please note:  IF YOUR ORDER IS NOT RETURNED IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING IT WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING FEE. Please see our terms and conditions for all Returns in our Privacy Policy page for more information.
    • Sold out items? It is our goal to keep our products on the cutting edge and our designs fresh and new. Once a design is sold out another is released in it’s place. So don’t wait, get ‘em while they’re hot!
    • What countries do you ship to? Bonjour, Hallo, Kon’nichiwa, Hola! We gladly ship all over the globe by UPS domestically and USPS internationally. If you do not see an international option for the product you wish to purchase, please e-mail us at info@dropitmodern.com
    • How long will it take to receive my order? At Drop it Modern our goal is to get you a beautiful product in a timely manner. In order to accomplish that we offer same day shipping Monday – Thursday, for all orders placed before 11am. Orders placed after 11am or on the weekends will be shipped the next business day. If an item is on back order it will be indicated on the product page before checkout.
    • *Please note that all monitors register color differently. We will ship the color backdrop that is listed on the invoice. If you have a discrepancy in the color tone you may exchange your backdrop for store credit only. This does not apply to wallpaper orders, all wallpaper sales are final. 
    • For Domestic orders: It typically takes between 1-7 business days depending upon your selected shipping method and where you live.
    • For International orders: It typically takes between 6-10 business days depending upon your selected shipping method and where you live. Shipping overseas has more variables involved due to transport and customs so please provide ample time to receive your order.
    • Drop it Modern cannot guarantee shipping times, however we do stand behind our promise of providing you the best customer service possible and if you have any questions regarding your order please don’t hesitate to contact us. info@dropitmodern.com
    • None of our products are fire retardant treated. If you require this and a certificate of treatment, you will need to provide that at your own cost and risk.
